So Swingtown has lasted for 4 episodes now and this Thursday is it's 5th episode.  I wrote in a previous blog about this TV show and said that I didn't think that it would last past 4 shows.  Not because I thought that it would be a bad show, but that I didn't think that America would tolerate it because of the subject matter in it. 

I must say, this show is GREAT!  It has great dialogue and great acting.  There are many story lines and they are all so interesting and really keep you coming back for more.  The actors do such a great job at being so convincing of the characters they are playing that you find yourself having a lot in common with all of them.  Even the young ones. 

Everything else, other than the actors, is true to the 1970's as well.  From the type of refrigerator in a kitchen, to the type of Tupperware they are selling, the clothes they are wearing, and the music they are playing.  It will take you back to the 1970's for sure.
